Meanwhile, Hany Abo Rida, FIFA Council member, was keen to attend part of the team’s training session in Doha.

Then, he had a short meeting with Mahmoud el-Khatib, Al-Ahly’s president, on the sidelines of the training.

“We have a full fit squad for the game. We expect the clash to be a difficult one against a tough opponent, who is the title holders of the CAF Confederations Cup,” Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly’s director of football said.

“The players are dedicated and they are fully concentrated on winning the CAF Super Cup. Captain El Khatib was also keen to talk to them and stress the importance of winning the trophy.”
