ORAN, Algeria – After day nine at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Algeria’s Oran, Egypt raised its tally to 43 medals, including 11 gold, 14 silver and 18 bronze medals.
The medals kept the country to seventh in medals table behind leaders Turkey, Italy, France, Algeria, Serbia and Spain.

Up to 3,390 athletes from 26 Mediterranean countries are taking part in the games, with Egypt participating with 184 athletes in 19 sports.
