At Arab Contractors Stadium, Zamalek and Modern Future had to settle for a point each after a pulsating 1-1 draw.
Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri took the lead for Zamalek in the 34th minute after converting a cross from Omar Gaber into Modern Future’s net.
Midfielder Mohamed Sadek put the finishing touches on an incredible sweeping the newly promoted side move to make it 1-1 in the 41st minute.

In the second-half, Pyramids capitalized on the chance to mount an attack towards triumph. Their pressure resulted in the first goal scored by winger Mostafa Fathi in the 51st minute with a powerful shot that hit the crossbar before finding the Ismaili net.
Pyramids continued to dominate the game, and succeeded in covering its lead with a penalty kick by winger Ramadan Sobhi in the 74th minute to secure three valuable points.
The victory cemented Pyramids FC on top the domestic league table with 50 points from 21 matches and still has three games in hands as Ismaili slipped to 12th place with 26 points from 24 matches.
At Arab Contractors Stadium, Arab Contractors and Pharco FC shared the spoils in a thrilling 1-1 draw.
Striker Amir Abed opened the scoring for Arab Contractors in the 42nd minute from the penalty spot.
Centre-forward Amr Nasser levelled the score for Pharco by converting a penalty kick in the 87th minute.
An end-to-end finish ensued as both sides felt a late goal could be decisive as Pharco’s defender Ramy Sabry almost came back to haunt Contractors, but he headed over from close range.
The result left Pharco FC in 16th place with 21 points after 23 games as Arab Contractors moved into 17th place with 16 points from 22 matches.
At Borg el-Arab Stadium in Alexandria, Al-Masry of Port Said put in a resolute performance as they held Enppi to a goalless draw.
Both sides continued to trade blows in what was turning out to be a real humdinger of a game.
The draw kept Al-Masry of Port Said in 2nd place with 38 points from 23 matches as Enppi remained at 4th place with 36 points from 24 matches.
At Cairo International Stadium, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria tied with its counterpart ZED FC 0-0.
ZED FC remained in third place with 37 points from 23 matches as they trail Al-Masry of Port Said in 2nd place by one point. Al-Ittihad of Alexandria dropped into 5th place with 36 points from 24 matches.
Ceramica Cleopatra claimed a 1-0 victory over NBE Club at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Cairo.
In the 47th minute of the game, NBE Club defender Mahmoud al-Gazzar accidentally scored an own goal, giving Ceramica the only goal of the match.
Ceramica continued to control the second half in search of more goals, but NBE Club continued to stand strong as they attempted to prevent the scoreline from getting out of hand.
The victory left Ceramica Cleopatra into 7th place with 34 points from 23 games as NBE Club stuck into 14th place with 22 points from 24 matches.
El-Gouna FC and Talae el-Geish walked away with a point apiece after their encounter ended in a goalless draw at El-Gouna Stadium.
Talae el-Geish is in 10th place in the standings with 30 points from 22 matches as El-Gouna occupies the 11th place with 30 points from 23 games.
At Ghazl el-Mahalla Stadium, Baladeyet el-Mahalla struck a decisive first-half winner as they secured a crucial 1-0 victory against El-Dakhleya.
The game sole goal came from striker Hossam Ashraf in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot.
The result marked Baladeyet el-Mahalla rekindling the recollection of triumphs following a string of 5 matches without victory, as their most recent win was secured against Arab Contractors.
