Al Ahly’s football first team achieved an impressive 3-0 victory over Al Ittihad Alexandria Club on Sunday in the Egyptian Premier League at Borg Al Arab Stadium.

With an amazing performance, Al-Ahly youngsters: Ahmed Ghareb and Ziad Tarek guided the rest of the team to 3-0 win over Al Ittihad.

The First Half

The first ten minutes of the first half began with the Reds looking forward to taking the early lead; however, they were faced by a strong defense from the opposition.

In the 11th minute of the game, Mohamed Fakhry made the first attempt on target from outside the box, but his shot was saved by Mohamed Abdelmonsef, Al Ittihad’s keeper.

Ten minutes later, Ahmed Sayed Ghareb went one on one against Abdelmonsef; however, Al Ittihad’s keeper deflected Ghareb’s shot to a corner-kick.

In the 23rd minute, the players failed to convert Fakhry’s brilliant cross from a free-kick into the opponent’s net.

In the 36th minute of the game, Ghareb was able to give Al-Ahly the lead on his league debut. Dieng found Karim Fouad inside the opponent’s box, who then chipped the ball over the goalkeeper towards Ghareb. Without thinking twice, Ghareb shot the ball towards the empty net.

In the 44th minute, the Red Eagles doubled the score. Ziad Tarek dribbled past the opponent’s defenders to place the ball beautifully into the net.

The Second Half

Just after two minutes from the start of the second half, the Reds were able to find the net for the third time in the game.

Having the ball on the left side of the pitch, Ashraf sent an amazing cross to Ghareb, who was able to add his second goal and the third in the game with his wonderful header.

In the 65th minute of the game, Ziad Tarek, Ahmed Sayed Ghareb, Mohamed Mahmoud were replaced by Percy Tau, Mohamed Hamdy, and Salah Mohsen.

Eleven minutes later, Mido Nabil entered the game instead of Aliou Dieng.

With just seven minutes left on the clock, Ricardo Soares used his bench for the last time in the game, when Mohamed Hany replaced Mohamed Fakhry.

The final minutes of the game went by with no change in the result.

With that result, Al Ahly remain in third place with a total of 59 points with a game in hand.
