CAIRO – Egyptian players Mohamed Amer and Zeyad el-Sisi will participate in the men’s fencing championship, which will be hosted by Padua, Italy on May 20-22.
The Italian federation decided to start the tournament for women competitions on May 20 and then followed by men games.
Amer and Zeyad will play in round 64 of the championship in Italy as they are included on a list of the best 16 players in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Fencing Federation is making preparations for hosting the 2022 World Fencing Championship on July 15-23 at Cairo International Stadium and under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
