BEIGING – Egypt’s national shooting team has arrived in the Chinese city of Ningbo to compete in the 2025 ISSF World Cup for Rifle and Pistol, scheduled from September 7 to 15.

The squad includes four shooters: Mohamed Hamdy and Mervat Anwar in the 10m air rifle events, along with Omar Khaled and Hala El-Gohary in the 10m air pistol events.

Prior to departure, Hazem Hosny, President of both the Egyptian and African Shooting Federations, oversaw the final preparations, voicing confidence in the athletes’ ability to deliver strong performances.

The 2025 tournament carries particular importance, featuring 320 shooters from 42 countries, as it serves as one of the last qualifying stages for the ISSF World Cup Final, slated to be held in Doha this December. Winners in each event will secure direct qualification for the final.
