CAIRO – The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that Egypt was elected as Vice President of the Association For International Sport for All (TAFISA).
This announcement came during TAFISA’s General Assembly meeting in Bahrain, with the participation of 45 world countries.
In a statement, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi said the State is keen on supporting its representatives in different Arab, continental and international sports bodies and federations.
Emad El Banani, former head of the National Sports Council and president of the Egyptian and Arab Federations of Sports for All, won the most votes to assume as TAFISA vice president.
Meanwhile, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz won the membership of TAFISA’s committee of events and competitions.
