CAIRO — A delegation from the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has departed for the United States as part of ongoing preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The visit aims to complete key administrative, logistical, and technical arrangements for the national team’s preparation programme ahead of the tournament.
The step comes within the EFA’s plan to provide the best possible conditions for the team and support the objectives of the coaching staff.
In an official statement, the EFA said the delegation’s mission is designed to secure the highest level of readiness for the national team in the lead-up to the World Cup and to provide an ideal environment for the squad before the competition begins.

The next edition of the World Cup will be staged across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Egypt has been drawn in Group G alongside Belgium, New Zealand, and Iran. The Pharaohs will open their campaign against Belgium on June 15 at 10:00pm Cairo Local Time.
During the visit, the delegation will inspect potential team accommodation, training facilities, and possible match venues.
Additionally, officials will also oversee arrangements for the team’s delegation, working to solve any possible challenges and guarantee the training camp provides the best conditions for achieving the squad’s technical goals.
