MARRAKECH — The Confederation of African Football (CAF) awarded its 2024 Outstanding Achievement Award to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of football in Egypt and across Africa.

Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi received the prestigious award on behalf of President Sisi during the CAF Annual Awards Ceremony held in Marrakech.
In his remarks, Sobhi expressed his deep honor in receiving the award on behalf of President Sisi, highlighting that the distinguished accolade from CAF underscores the President’s outstanding efforts, substantial contributions, and steadfast support for the advancement of football in Egypt and across Africa.
