CAIRO – Egyptian Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi will inaugurate in Cairo on Saturday the second African bowling championship, which is organized by the Egyptian Bowling Federation.
Chairman of the Bowling Federation of Africa (BFA) Farouq Haridi said the federation entitled Egypt with organizing the event at its request.
The first African championship was held in South Africa in 2019.
Haridi said five countries are taking part in the championship; Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Tunisia.
The tournament will wrap up next Friday.
