The Hail Region Development Authority has announced the successful conclusion of the events accompanying the 2026 Hail Toyota Baja International Rally.
Over the course of six days, the festival at Al-Magwa Park presented a comprehensive package of scientific, literary, cultural, and recreational programmes.
These activities were organised through a broad partnership involving government agencies, the private sector, and various community associations. The resounding success of these programmes reflects the rally’s growing prominence as one of the Kingdom’s leading sporting and tourism landmarks, drawing a massive audience and fostering high levels of community engagement.
The events witnessed a remarkable public turnout, totaling 222,000 visitors throughout the week. Attendance grew steadily each day, starting with 12,000 visitors on the first day and rising to 19,000 on the second and 28,000 on the third.
The momentum surged on the fourth day with over 60,000 attendees, reaching a peak of 63,000 on the fifth day before concluding with 40,000 visitors on the final day. This high volume of traffic was managed by a dedicated team of 984 participants from various sectors, 145 organizing committee members, and 138 security personnel. Additionally, 1,347 volunteers played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth experience for guests across the 143 booths that offered diverse cultural and entertainment services.

CEO of the Hail Region Development Authority Omar bin Abdullah Al Abduljabbar stated that this achievement is a direct result of the unlimited support provided by the Kingdom’s leadership toward the development of the youth and the community. He noted that the Authority was keen to highlight these values through the rally’s accompanying events.
He also expressed his deep gratitude to Governor of Hail Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz and Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin, Deputy Governor, for their constant follow-up and vision, which created the supportive environment necessary for such a national success.
In his concluding remarks, Al Abduljabbar emphasized that the data and performance indicators from the 2026 event confirm its significant impact on the regional economy and tourism sector.
By providing an integrated experience for all visitors, the festival has successfully enhanced Hail’s reputation as an attractive destination for hosting major international events. This progress continues to be driven by the government’s commitment to showcasing the distinguished organisational and cultural assets of the Hail Region.
