British praise for EgyptAir Training Academy

The EgyptAir Training Academy, affiliated with EgyptAir Holding Company, received Mark Bryson Richardson, the United Kingdom Ambassador to Cairo, during an official visit to explore the academy’s capabilities and discuss potential co-operation with the British company Acron Aviation in the fields of flight simulation and advanced training.
Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, welcomed the ambassador’s visit, describing the academy as a major training institution and a key pillar in preparing and qualifying aviation professionals at both regional and international levels.

Adel emphasised the academy’s commitment to expanding international partnerships with leading specialised companies to keep pace with the latest advancements in aviation training technology. He also noted that the partnership with Acron contributes to integrating advanced British technology with Egypt’s long-standing expertise, enhancing the academy’s competitiveness as a leading regional and global training centre serving more than 100 airlines worldwide.
During the visit, the ambassador was accompanied by Captain Walid Soliman, Head of the Academy, and Captain Moataz Refaat, Vice-President, along with representatives of Acron in Cairo.
The ambassador toured the academy’s latest Full Flight Simulators for Airbus and Boeing aircraft, as well as the cabin crew training complex, which includes

cabin emergency evacuation trainer (CEET) and cabin service trainers (CST). He also reviewed the technical readiness and training technologies in use.
The ambassador was further briefed by Soliman on the academy’s development plans and future training services.

For his part, the Academy’s Head praised the ambassador’s visit, which reflects the significant international confidence in the EgyptAir Training Academy. He added that the co-operation with the British Company Acron Aviation is a cornerstone of the academy’s strategy to modernise its simulator fleet, including the latest Boeing B737-800 MAX and Airbus A320neo simulators.
In turn, the UK Ambassador expressed his admiration for the academy’s advanced facilities and technologies, describing it as a leading model for specialised training centres. He also praised the ongoing co-operation with Acron and emphasised the importance of further developing this partnership.
