EgyptAir Training Academy organised a number of information tours for students at different Egyptian universities and institutes during the past period, to learn about the advanced capabilities of the academy and raise awareness among young people about the advanced civil aviation system, while opening new horizons for young graduates to acquire the skills needed for the labour market in various fields.
These tours also introduce students to the latest flight simulation devices dedicated to training pilots at the academy, which include aircraft simulators of the A320, A320neo, A220, A330/B737, and B777 models, as well as the emergency evacuation and emergency training device for cabin crew (CEET), and the cabin crew training device on providing services on the aircraft (CST), in addition to training aircraft maintenance engineers.
The academy has witnessed many field visits by students of universities and higher engineering institutes, such as the visit of students of the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, the Faculty of Engineering at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, and the Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology in Minya, where a full explanation was provided in the field of operation and maintenance of various flight simulation devices.
The academy also received many field visits by students of colleges and institutes of tourism and hotels, such as the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Sadat University, the Egyptian Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels in Sheraton, the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels – EGT, and the Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels in Badr, in addition to students of colleges of media and languages, such as the Faculty of Media at Menoufia University.
During these information tours, a comprehensive explanation was provided for all the specialised training programmes offered by the academy in various fields within its advanced training rooms, such as the fields of pricing and booking air tickets, air hostess training and other training courses that help to develop their personal skills, such as customer service courses, public relations skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, skills of passing personal interviews, computer skills and languages, and other courses that are appropriate for their studies and future aspirations.
These tours are part of the academy’s efforts to raise awareness among young people about the opportunities available in the civil aviation sector, and to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in this field.
