Sohag International Airport in Egypt has welcomed its first flight from Flyadeal, arriving from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with 172 passengers on board. The arrival is part of Egypt’s efforts to attract investment and support development projects in Upper Egypt, particularly in Sohag, a region rich in archaeological treasures and tourism potential.
The flight was greeted by Captain Abu Bakr Ahmed Suleiman, the airport’s director, who ensured that all passengers received a warm welcome. The airport’s public relations team provided a range of services and distributed gifts to the passengers, processing their arrival in record time.
Flyadeal is scheduled to operate two flights per week on this route, as part of its ongoing commitment to connecting Egypt with key destinations in the Middle East.
