Sherif Abdel-Galil appointed Chairman of Misr Aswan Tourist Company

The Board of Directors of Misr Aswan Tourist Company has approved the appointment of Sherif Abdel-Galil as Chairman and Managing Director of the company. The decision follows the nomination by Engineer Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding, which owns a 26% stake in the company.

Abdel-Galil is set to chair the company’s general assembly meeting on September 23 at the Novotel Hotel, where the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, will be approved.

Sherif Abdel-Galil has held various senior positions at EgyptAir, including Director General of Financial Affairs at EgyptAir Cargo, Financial Director of EgyptAir offices in the US and UK, Head of Financial Affairs at EgyptAir Airlines, and Head of the Financial Affairs Sector at EgyptAir Holding. Most recently, he served as an advisor to the Chairman of EgyptAir Holding.
