A high-level inspection committee, chaired by Pilot Montaser Manaa, Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation, carried out a security and environmental assessment at Aswan International Airport and Abu Simbel airport. The delegation included Wael Al-Nashar, Chairman of the Egyptian Airports Company, and representatives from various relevant authorities.
At Aswan International Airport, the committee, received by Airport Director Pilot Ahmed el-Baz, reviewed operational activities and assessed the airport’s readiness. The team evaluated security and health protocols, monitored passenger movement within departure and arrival halls, and inspected air traffic operations and overall security measures. The inspection also focused on the quality of services provided to passengers in terminal areas and service zones.
The delegation later visited Abu Simbel airport, where they were welcomed by Airport Director Pilot Mohamed Saad. The committee examined the departure and arrival halls, reviewed travel procedures, and assessed operational workflows.
Key areas inspected included passport control, duty-free zones, and baggage claim areas, ensuring compliance with safety measures and the delivery of high-quality services to travelers.
The visits are part of ongoing efforts to uphold international standards in security, environmental compliance, and passenger services across Egypt’s airports.
