A high-level security and environmental inspection committee, chaired by Captain Montaser Manna, Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation, conducted a comprehensive visit to Port Said Airport. The committee, accompanied by representatives from various concerned authorities, was welcomed by Captain Ahmed Sharaf, the airport director.
The visit focused on evaluating the airport’s readiness to handle flights, ensuring operational efficiency, and assessing the implementation of security and health procedures. The committee also monitored passenger flow, the operation of air petroleum services flights, security operations, and the quality of services provided within the departure and arrival halls, as well as other service areas.

During the inspection, the committee toured several key areas of the airport, including the airport perimeter, the passenger terminal, the international and domestic departure and arrival lounges, lounges, cafeterias, the duty-free shopping area, passport and customs procedures, the meteorological office, the control tower, the information center, and the security room with its surveillance camera system. Additionally, the team inspected the baggage handling area, checked the smooth operation of the travel and arrival processes, and reviewed the airport gates.
