Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, has issued a decision assigning Eng. Mohamed Sami to carry out the duties of Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering, succeeding Eng. Ibrahim Fathy, who was thanked and commended for his efforts and contributions during his tenure, with best wishes for his future endeavours.
Sami has held several leadership positions within the company, most recently serving as Assistant Chairman. Prior to that, he was Director responsible for local and international certifications and also served as General Manager of the Quality Assurance Department, gaining extensive experience in managing major operational and strategic aircraft maintenance portfolios.
In the same context, Adel also issued a decision appointing Eng. Alaa Shokry as Assistant Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering. Shokry has progressed through several leadership roles within the company, including Director of Hangar 7000, General Manager of periodic maintenance , and most recently General Manager of Maintenance Planning and Contracts.
