The new national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Air, has announced the launch of ticket sales for its daily flights between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Cairo International Airport, with two daily flights starting July 25, 2026.
The addition of this route reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding its operational network and strengthening air connectivity between the Kingdom and prominent regional and international capitals, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals for the aviation and tourism sectors.

The direct daily flights between Riyadh and Cairo will be operated with Riyadh Air’s brand-new fleet of state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, said that adding Cairo to the network represents an important milestone in the airline’s journey to connect Riyadh with the world and the world with Riyadh. He added that it also serves as a key step in enhancing air connectivity between the Kingdom and the African continent, opening new horizons for co-operation, economic growth, and tourism. Douglas added that the airline will continue to build a global network of more than 100 destinations.
