EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Company successfully passed the periodic inspection to renew the ISO 45001:2018 certification for occupational health and safety and the ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management system, in addition to the periodic follow-up review of the ISO 9001:2015 quality systems certification, which was conducted by Intertek, the awarding body.
The inspection aims to verify the extent to which the procedures for aircraft maintenance comply with international standard regulations, in line with the directives of Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, to adhere to the maintenance of international and local certifications in all sectors of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and in the belief in maintaining occupational health and safety for workers of all categories and consolidating the principle of environmental protection.
For his part, Engineer Yahya Zakaria, Chairman of the Holding Company for EgyptAir, congratulated the employees of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Company for passing the inspection, expressing his confidence in the company’s workforce and their ability to work in all circumstances with high efficiency, which is confirmed by the certifications that the company obtains with merit.
