Cairo International Airport recorded a significant increase in passenger traffic in February 2025, handling 2.42 million passengers, an 8% rise compared to the same month in 2024.

The number of flights also grew by 6%, reaching 16,944 flights operated by both national and international airlines.

The latest figures highlight the airport’s ability to accommodate rising passenger numbers while maintaining high service standards and ensuring comfort and efficiency for travelers.

EgyptAir partners with PMI Flight to enhance booking distribution

EgyptAir has signed an agreement with PMI Flight to activate Access of Using NDC API-OUT, aimed at enhancing the distribution of flight bookings.

The signing ceremony was attended by Amr Adawy, Head of Commercial Affairs, and Mohamed El-Fouli, NDC Distribution Channels Project Manager at EgyptAir. Representing PMI Flight were Mohamed Ghozail, CEO, Tarek Basiony, Regional Director for Egypt and North Africa, and Talaat Alaa El-Din, Vice President.

Adawy described the agreement as a significant step towards utilizing EgyptAir’s NDC technology, expressing optimism about the positive impact on both companies.

PMI Flight’s CEO, Mohamed Ghozail, welcomed the partnership with EgyptAir, one of the region’s most established airlines, and emphasized the commitment to boosting sales and ensuring the agreement’s success.
