EgyptAir Training Academy has inked a co-operation agreement with AirCairo to train more than 50 maintenance engineers from AirCairo on A320 aircraft, which represents the backbone of the airline’s fleet, during the Dubai Airshow 2025.

The agreement reflects the great confidence of AirCairo in the capabilities and expertise of EgyptAir Academy, which is certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Captain Ahmed Shanan, Chairman of AirCairo, stated: “We are pleased to enhance our co-operation with EgyptAir Training Academy, given its advanced expertise and international certifications that ensure the highest levels of qualification.

This agreement is part of AirCairo’s plans to enhance the efficiency of its maintenance engineers and support the readiness of its fleet in line with the company’s expansion plans over the coming years.”

Captain Walid Suleiman, Chairman of EgyptAir Training Academy, added:

“We are proud of AirCairo’s trust in the Academy as an accredited training destination capable of supporting national airlines with the latest training programmes aligned with international standards.

We will provide specialised training programmes to ensure that AirCairo engineers are qualified to the highest levels of professionalism.”
