Pilot Ahmed Adel praised the active role of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) in supporting and developing the aviation sector across the continent.
He affirmed EgyptAir’s commitment to participating in various initiatives and programmes aimed at enhancing integration and co-operation among African airlines, maximising the utilisation of the significant available opportunities.

This came during a meeting where Pilot Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of the EgyptAir Holding Company, received Pilot George Kamal, Acting General Manager and CEO of Kenya Airways and Chair of the AFRAA Executive Committee, along with Abdelrahman Berty, Secretary General of the Association. The meeting was also attended by Rabab Hamdy, Head of the Alliances Sector at EgyptAir Holding Company.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance bilateral co-operation between EgyptAir and Kenya Airways. Both parties reviewed opportunities to develop existing partnerships, particularly in operations and knowledge exchange, contributing to the benefits from the high growth rates witnessed in the African aviation market.
