National air carrier to resume flights to Mumbai next Monday

EgyptAir will resume its direct flights between Cairo and Mumbai at a rate of 4 flights per week, with the aim of strengthening its presence in the Asian market, which is one of the important, vital and promising markets.

Amr Abul-Enein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir, said that the national company has developed an ambitious plan to operate its flights to cities with high traffic rates and link them to the points of the EgyptAir network, and given the importance of the link between Cairo and India, it was decided to resume the company’s direct flights between Cairo and Mumbai.

It is planned that EgyptAir flights to Mumbai will be operated with the Boeing B737-800.

He said that the resumption of the operation of the Mumbai line comes as part of the role played by the national airline in expanding its network of airlines and supporting the tourist movement by returning to the normal operating rates of flights to many points that were stopped before the coronavirus pandemic, and working to increase the trade exchange and economic in order to serve the directions of the state.
