Marsa Matrouh International Airport received the first flight of flag carrier Air Serbia, coming from Belgrade, with 102 passengers on board. This is the first foreign flight to the city of Marsa Matrouh in the summer season.
Immediately after landing, the plane was greeted with water cannons, and the public relations team distributed gifts and roses to celebrate the arrival of visitors at the airport.
The airline already operates charter flights to Egypt’s Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh. On May 15, Air Serbia resumed flights connecting Belgrade to Cairo after a three-year pause.
