EgyptAir continues to strengthen its global presence in the air transport industry through its distinguished participation in the ITL International Exhibition in Baghdad with a special pavilion.

This year’s participation comes as part of EgyptAir’s ongoing vision for development and professionalism in the global aviation sector, and its continuous efforts to expand and reinforce its position as a pioneering carrier in the region.

EgyptAir’s pavilion attracted a large number of visitors, with the carrier’s marketing and promotional team showcasing a range of distinguished services and promotional offers. Guests at the pavilion were also presented with symbolic gifts, and commemorative photos were taken to mark the successful participation.

During the event, the capabilities of the modern Airbus A350-900 were showcased. The aircraft is scheduled to join EgyptAir’s fleet starting December 2025, reflecting the national carrier’s ongoing commitment to implementing its ambitious plan to modernise its fleet and enhance operational efficiency.

The promotion also highlighted the Grand Egyptian Museum as the largest museum in the world dedicated to the artifacts of a single civilisation.

Iraq’s Minister of Transport, Razzak Moheebes Al-Saadawi, visited EgyptAir’s pavillion, expressing his admiration for the level of development and excellence achieved by the national carrier and praising its role in promoting Egypt’s cultural image on the international stage. The visit was also attended by Hussein Al-Zubaidi, Director of the Iraqi Airports Authority, and Captain Harith Al-Obaidi, Director of Baghdad International Airport.

During the exhibition, Eman Abdel-Gawad, EgyptAir’s Regional Manager in Iraq, and Hossam Talba, Director of the Baghdad Office, held a series of meetings with leading travel agencies, ground service companies, and air cargo operators, as part of efforts to strengthen co-operation and expand the airline’s presence in the Iraqi market.

The ITL exhibition serves as a major platform bringing together airlines, hotels, and technology providers, as well as the Civil Aviation Authority and the Iraqi Airports Authority, offering EgyptAir the opportunity to showcase its latest services and competitive advantages across its international network.

It is worth noting that EgyptAir currently operates 11 weekly flights between Egypt and Iraq, with seven flights on the Cairo–Baghdad route and four flights on the Cairo–Erbil route.
