The workshop was attended by Captain Karim Gamil, Rapporteur of the Permanent National Committee for the Ministry’s Aviation Sector Action Plan and Advisor to the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, and Engineer Abdel Ghaffar El-Sayed, ICAO Focal Point.

Captain Sameh Fawzy affirmed that this co-operation represents an effective model for international partnerships supporting the development of Egypt’s civil aviation system, noting that the technical support provided contributed to building national capacities and establishing practical and scientific mechanisms for implementing the plan, which received commendation from ICAO.

For her part, the EASA expert confirmed the continuation of co-operation with the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority through the ETAP project, in support of sustainable development goals and to further enhance Egypt’s regional and international standing in the air transport industry.
