Flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, and TAROM, Romania’s national carrier  announced a new interline partnership aimed at enhancing global connectivity for passengers. This strategic agreement provides flydubai passengers with seamless travel to 15 destinations on TAROM’s network via Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP).

The collaboration will offer customers a streamlined travel experience with greater access to key destinations across Central and Eastern Europe.

Under the agreement, flydubai passengers can connect to popular cities such as Athens, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cluj-Napoca, Frankfurt, and Paris on a single ticket, with baggage checked through to their final destination.

Ramesh Anantharaman, Regional Vice President of flydubai, highlighted the benefits of the partnership. “We are delighted to add TAROM to our growing list of connecting partners.”

He added that the new agreement will allow flydubai customers to benefit from easier access between Dubai and TAROM’s regional network across Central and Eastern Europe, enhancing trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.

“Through this agreement, customers can enjoy seamless travel, booking a single ticket and checking in their baggage to their final destination,” he said.

Costin Iordache, General Manager of TAROM, also expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “As Romania’s national carrier, we are delighted to partner with flydubai. This co-operation is a strategic step for us, providing travelers with reliable and convenient travel options, connecting both countries and enhancing tourism and business in the region.”

flydubai has been serving Bucharest since 2012 and has seen significant growth in demand for travel to and from the Romanian capital. This new partnership reinforces the airline’s commitment to providing a robust and convenient network for its passengers.
