At the conclusion of the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, held a meeting with Mohamed Rahma, head of ICAO’s Air Transport Sector and one of the most distinguished Egyptian figures in the global aviation industry.
During the meeting, Dr. El-Hefny commended Rahma’s leadership role at the organization, highlighting his extensive professional experience and steady rise through senior positions in the aviation sector before assuming his current international post. He noted that Rahma’s achievements stand as a testament to Egyptian competence on the global stage, while also contributing to the development of the international air transport system and strengthening ICAO’s role worldwide.

For his part, Mohamed Rahma expressed gratitude to the Minister for his ongoing support of ICAO’s programs and initiatives. He praised El-Hefny’s commitment to advancing international civil aviation obligations and his vision for enhancing cooperation at both regional and international levels.
