The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority has organised a workshop entitled “Air Cargo Management” to review the latest practices in air cargo, ICAO and IATA standards, and the handling of dangerous goods.

The five-day workshop was attended by 30 experts from Sudan, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, and Mauritania. It was inaugurated by Mohamed Ahmed Moustafa, an air transport expert.
The workshop discussed methods to provide participants with the latest air cargo procedures, regulations, and standards required by international organisations such as ICAO and IATA.
Participants were also briefed on the rules for handling dangerous goods and trained on the means and safeguards necessary to ensure the safe delivery of air shipments.
