EgyptAir Training Academy participated in the African Aviation Conference 2024, held in Addis Ababa and hosted by Ethiopian Airlines under the auspices of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). This involvement aligns with the ambitious plans of Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation to enhance training and expand cooperation across the African continent.

Led by pilot Walid Suleiman, the academy’s presence at the conference underscores its commitment to participating in specialised aviation forums. This engagement aims to increase the academy’s footprint in the African market and showcase its diverse training capabilities.
During the conference, EgyptAir Training Academy highlighted its comprehensive training services, including pilot training on Airbus A320neo, A320, A220-300, and Boeing B777, B737-800 flight simulators. Additionally, the academy offers advanced training for cabin crew using devices like the Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer (CEET) and the Cabin Service Trainer (CST). Engineers receive aircraft maintenance training for multiple aircraft types, certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The academy also provides specialized courses such as ICAO Aviation Security and ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS.
These offerings reinforce EgyptAir Training Academy’s leadership among global aviation training centers, demonstrating its adherence to the highest international standards in the aviation industry.
