EgyptAir reaffirmed its growing global footprint in the air transport and tourism industries through its distinguished participation in the TTG International Travel and Tourism Exhibition held in Rimini, Italy—one of the most prestigious global events dedicated to the travel and tourism sector.

This year’s participation marked one of EgyptAir’s largest and most dynamic appearances since the exhibition’s inception, underscoring the national carrier’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global position, expand its network, and promote its vision for sustainable growth and excellence in aviation services.

The TTG Exhibition brings together key stakeholders from across the global tourism ecosystem—including airlines, tour operators, hotels, and technology providers—offering EgyptAir an ideal platform to present its latest products, digital innovations, and competitive advantages across its international network.

The EgyptAir pavilion attracted heavy visitor turnout, where the company’s marketing and promotional team showcased exclusive offers and highlighted the airline’s modern services. Guests also received symbolic gifts and commemorative photos marking the airline’s successful participation.

A major highlight of EgyptAir’s presence was the presentation of the Airbus A350-900, scheduled to join the airline’s fleet in December 2025. The new aircraft represents a cornerstone of EgyptAir’s ambitious fleet modernization strategy, which aims to enhance operational efficiency while promoting environmental sustainability.

With its advanced fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions, the A350-900 supports EgyptAir’s commitment to eco-friendly operations—combining cutting-edge performance with environmental responsibility.

The EgyptAir pavilion welcomed Ambassador Walid Othman, Egypt’s Consul General in Milan, who praised the airline’s continuous progress and its role in promoting Egypt’s cultural and economic image worldwide.

During the exhibition’s first day, Salah Tawfik, EgyptAir’s Regional Manager in Italy, and Amr Farouk, Director of the Milan Office, held productive meetings with major Italian tour operators, travel companies, and representatives of the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation and strengthening tourism partnerships with the Italian market.

EgyptAir currently operates 30 weekly flights between Egypt and Italy—14 flights on the Cairo–Rome route, 14 flights on the Cairo–Milan route, and two weekly flights on additional services—reflecting the airline’s strong commitment to supporting tourism and trade ties between the two countries.
