EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has officially renewed its ISO 9001:2015 international quality management certification, marking the nineteenth year in a row the company has achieved this distinction. The renewal followed a series of comprehensive audits and inspections performed by Intertek, a globally recognised certification body.
This success highlights the company’s strict operational discipline, as the inspection of all organisational activities resulted in full compliance with international standards without a single negative observation or finding.

By maintaining this certification for nearly two decades, EgyptAir reaffirms its leading position in the aviation industry. This achievement demonstrates the company’s commitment to implementing precise maintenance policies that ensure aircraft safety and high-level service for its international clients.
The consistent success in these audits serves as a clear indicator of the company’s reliability and its ability to meet the rigorous demands of the global aviation market.
Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Holding Company Ahmed Adel expressed great pride in this continued international recognition.
He noted that the certification reflects the deep confidence that global partners and clients have in the company’s technical capabilities, which significantly strengthens its competitiveness in both regional and international markets.

Adel attributed this success to the tireless efforts and high efficiency of the workforce, who have remained dedicated to their duties despite the ongoing challenges facing the global aviation sector.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Ibrahim Fathi explained that the ISO 9001:2015 system provides the essential framework for planning and delivering high-quality services.
He emphasised that passing the inspection for nineteen consecutive years without any findings proves that a culture of excellence is now a fundamental part of the company.
Fathi added that the international team’s praise for employee awareness further solidifies EgyptAir’s reputation as a world-class provider of aircraft maintenance services.
