EgyptAir has officially signed a sponsorship agreement with world squash champion Karim Abdel Gawad.

Currently ranked among the top five players globally, Abdel Gawad joins the airline’s prestigious roster of sponsored athletes.

This partnership underscores EgyptAir’s commitment to supporting elite Egyptian talent who represent the nation on the world stage, further solidifying the company’s role as a primary supporter of squash a sport where Egypt maintains global dominance.

Head of Commercial Affairs at EgyptAir Airlines Amr Adawy emphasized that the collaboration is rooted in a deep belief in the potential of Egyptian youth.

“We are proud to welcome Karim Abdel Gawad to our family of champions,” Adawy stated. He noted that supporting national sports is more than a duty; it is a strategic investment in excellence. Adawy described Abdel Gawad as a model of perseverance and sportsmanship, affirming EgyptAir’s pride in serving as the official carrier for his journey to future podiums.

In response, Karim Abdel Gawad expressed his honour in partnering with such a significant national institution.
