EgyptAir has inaugurated the first room dedicated to welcoming passengers with invisible (hidden) disabilities and their companions at Cairo International Airport.
This initiative comes as part of the airline’s social responsibility efforts and its support for achieving sustainability goals in line with Egypt Vision 2030.

The initiative aims to improve the travel experience for people with autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, and various psychological conditions, as well as individuals who suffer from heightened sensitivity to noise or light.
The room provides a calm and safe environment specifically designed to reduce sensory overstimulation, helping to lower stress and anxiety levels before travel and improving the overall passenger experience.

The room was recently opened in the departure hall of Terminal 3 at Cairo International Airport, specifically in front of Entrance 4. A team from the Public Relations Department will receive passengers, escort them from the airport entrance to the designated room, provide full assistance in completing travel procedures, and accompany them all the way to the aircraft gate.
