EgyptAir issued instructions on Saturday to all tourism companies and travel agents not to issue tickets or accept any passenger-carrying visitor visas of all kinds on flights bound for Jeddah/Medina during the upcoming Hajj season as of May 30 until June 27.
The decision followed instructions issued by the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority not to allow holders of visit visas of all kinds to enter Saudi Arabia during this year’s Hajj season.
EgyptAir has launched air bridge to transport the pilgrims from the seasonal flight terminal to Medina and Jeddah on June 10, 2023 until June 23, 2023, provided that the return flights to the homeland start from July 1, 2023 until July 13, 2023.
The Cairo International Airport authorities are taking all measures to ensure the safety of travellers through reducing overcrowding.
