Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Yehia Zakaria said that within the framework of technical co-operation between EgyptAir and Iraqi Airways, the company’s technical crews have completed the “heavy maintenance” inspection for Boeing B777-200, which belongs to the Iraqi Airways.
In press statements on Tuesday, Zakaria said conducting “heavy maintenance” for one of the Iraqi Airways aircraft and handing it over to the company comes within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between EgyptAir and Iraqi Airways.
He further noted that the good relations between the two companies have resulted in continued cooperation between the two sides for a long time.
Plans are to carry out maintenance of Iraqi aircraft on a larger scale during the coming period, he added.
