In anticipation of the Egypt International Air Show, EgyptAir Duty Free has strategically expanded its presence at El Alamein Airport.
The company has opened new branches to cater to the needs of both airport passengers and exhibition visitors, demonstrating its commitment to providing exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of the event.
The newly established duty-free shops have witnessed an overwhelming response from attendees, underscoring the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s foresight in recognizing the importance of such retail outlets. These branches have played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall visitor experience, offering a convenient and enjoyable shopping environment.
Under the guidance of Dr Saad Maabed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Duty Free, the branches have been designed in a distinctive Pharaonic style, aligning with the Ministry’s broader plan to promote tourism to El Alamein City.
This initiative is a significant step towards realising the state’s vision of transforming El Alamein into a thriving tourist destination.
To further incentivise visitors, Dr. Maabed has introduced a 10% discount for all exhibition attendees. This generous offer aims to attract more customers to the duty-free shops, both at the airport and the dedicated exhibition branch, ultimately contributing to the marketing and promotion of EgyptAir and its retail operations.
