EgyptAir Chairman Ahmed Adel has held talks with a British delegation in Cairo to explore avenues for strengthening collaboration in the aviation sector. The discussions focused on expanding EgyptAir’s fleet through commercial partnerships, financing solutions, and technological co-operation.

The meeting was attended by Yasmin Qureshi, a member of the UK House of Commons and the UK’s trade envoy to Egypt, along with British Ambassador to Egypt Gareth Bayley. Also present were Wisam Hassanein, the embassy’s commercial advisor for aviation, defense, and security; John Welch, the UK’s director of trade envoy relations for Africa; and Yasmin Almallah, the embassy’s public diplomacy and events officer.
