EgyptAir, a member of the Star Alliance, has congratulated the alliance for being named the World’s Best Airline Alliance at the prestigious World Travel Awards. The accolade was announced during a ceremony held in Madeira, Portugal, attended by prominent figures in global travel and tourism.
In addition to this recognition, the Star Alliance Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport was awarded the title of “Best Airline Lounge in North America” for the fifth consecutive year in July 2024, further cementing the alliance’s leadership in airport hospitality.
Theo Panagiotoulias, Chief Executive Officer of Star Alliance, expressed gratitude for the accolade, saying, “We are deeply honoured to be named the world’s best airline alliance once again. This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of the staff at our member airlines and their commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences to customers.
