EgyptAir, a member of the Star Alliance, extended its congratulations to the alliance for winning the prestigious Skytrax award for the best airline alliance in the world. The award ceremony was held in the United Kingdom.
The new Star Alliance lounge at Charles de Gaulle Airport also received the award for the best airline alliance lounge worldwide. The awards were accepted by Theo Panagiotoulias, CEO of Star Alliance, who praised all employees for their dedication and effort, attributing the win to their commitment.
Additionally, 16 member airlines of Star Alliance won 47 individual awards in various categories, including best business class and best business class catering, among others.
