EgyptAir Cargo successfully conducted a comprehensive general evacuation drill, simulating a fire emergency, at the Cairo Cargo Terminal. This major exercise underscores the company’s proactive commitment to bolstering its operational resilience and optimising the effectiveness of its crisis and emergency management protocols, aligning with rigorous approved local and international aviation safety standards.

The extensive drill was executed under the distinguished auspices of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the Cairo Airport Company, and involved seamless coordination and cooperation with all pertinent governmental and security authorities.
The meticulously designed training scenario was carried out with exemplary efficiency, highlighting the rapid response capability and elevated state of readiness demonstrated by the participating teams.
EgyptAir Cargo extended its sincere appreciation for the crucial and effective cooperation of all participating entities, which were pivotal to the successful outcome of the exercise.

Key collaborating bodies included: the Civil Aviation Authority, Civil Protection Forces, supportive security agencies, the Customs Authority, the Ambulance Authority, EgyptAir Medical Services Company, the Safety and Quality Sector of EgyptAir Holding Company, air freight agents, and the company’s valued clients.
The exercise achieved its overarching planned objectives, validating the efficiency of evacuation procedures and demonstrating the seamless coordination between all parties. This successful drill significantly enhances the collective ability of the airport and EgyptAir facilities to manage genuine emergencies and maintain the highest levels of safety and security across all operations.
