EgyptAir Cargo, a leading global air cargo carrier, has entered into a strategic partnership with Asiana Airlines, a prominent airline in the Asia-Pacific region. This new agreement will see EgyptAir Cargo provide comprehensive storage and handling services for Asiana Airlines’ inbound and outbound cargo at its state-of-the-art cargo complex in Cairo.
Captain Ehab El-Tahtawy, Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Cargo, expressed his delight at securing this partnership.

The dedicated team led by Hesham Aliwa, Head of the Cargo Movement Sector, played a pivotal role in securing this partnership, alongside the contributions of Dr. Mohamed Rashed Thuraya, General Manager of Complexes and Foreign Airline Services, and Mazen Fikry Saleh, Supervisor of Ground Service Contracts.
This three-year agreement positions Cairo International Airport as a crucial hub for air cargo operations. EgyptAir Cargo will leverage this opportunity to expand its customer base by delivering integrated and high-quality cargo services that cater to the specific needs of major airlines. This partnership is poised to significantly enhance handling and storage operations, facilitating a seamless flow of goods between South Korea, Egypt, and the wider region.
