Captain Ehab El-Tahtawy, Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Cargo, expressed his delight at securing this partnership.

“This agreement is a testament to our dedication to providing world-class cargo solutions. We successfully outcompeted other bidders by presenting a compelling technical and commercial offer that aligned with the highest international quality standards and exceptional customer service,” he stated.

The dedicated team led by Hesham Aliwa, Head of the Cargo Movement Sector, played a pivotal role in securing this partnership, alongside the contributions of Dr. Mohamed Rashed Thuraya, General Manager of Complexes and Foreign Airline Services, and Mazen Fikry Saleh, Supervisor of Ground Service Contracts.

This three-year agreement positions Cairo International Airport as a crucial hub for air cargo operations. EgyptAir Cargo will leverage this opportunity to expand its customer base by delivering integrated and high-quality cargo services that cater to the specific needs of major airlines. This partnership is poised to significantly enhance handling and storage operations, facilitating a seamless flow of goods between South Korea, Egypt, and the wider region.

By prioritizing operational excellence and customer satisfaction, EgyptAir Cargo aims to solidify its position as a leading player in the global air cargo industry. This strategic partnership with Asiana Airlines aligns perfectly with the company’s overarching goal of strengthening its competitive edge on both regional and international levels.
