EgyptAir is growing its international network by launching new direct flights from Cairo to Los Angeles and Chicago.
Starting in May and June 2026, these routes mark the first time the airline will fly directly to the US West Coast.
These new cities join New York and Washington, D.C., bringing the airline’s total number of US destinations to five.
The service to Los Angeles will begin in May with flights every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The Chicago route will follow in June, operating on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This expansion is designed to make travel easier and faster for passengers, while strengthening Cairo’s position as a major travel hub connecting the Middle East and Africa to North America.
To provide a better experience, EgyptAir will use its new Airbus A350-900 aircraft for these long journeys.
The planes are designed to be quieter and more fuel-efficient, offering 340 seats across business and economy classes. With modern entertainment and more comfortable cabins, the airline aims to provide a high-quality experience for both vacationers and business travelers.
Airline leadership noted that these new routes are a big step in their plan to modernize their fleet and reach more global destinations.
By offering direct flights to these major cities, EgyptAir is making it more convenient for people to travel between the two continents while providing the latest in flight comfort and technology.
