By aligning their efforts, both Egypt and Qatar aim to create a more seamless and efficient aviation corridor that benefits travellers and businesses alike.

During the discussions, el-Hefny pointed to the deep-rooted history between the two countries as the foundation for this expanding partnership.

He emphasised that the Ministry is particularly focused on technical capacity-building and specialised training programs designed to keep both nations at the forefront of international safety standards.

Al-Hajri expressed Qatar’s strong desire to benefit from Egypt’s vast experience in the field, noting that updating regulations and improving professional skills are top priorities for achieving their shared goals in the aviation sector.

The delegation also visited the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, where they met with Captain Sameh Fawzy to hammer out the finer details of the agreement. These talks moved beyond high-level strategy to address specific operational areas, such as increasing flight traffic, improving air safety protocols, and streamlining aviation security.
