Egypt’s Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) has embarked on a major upgrade of its IT systems as part of a broader digital transformation strategy. The initiative includes the deployment of advanced computing devices, the renewal of existing equipment, and the integration of internal operational systems to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
The project aims to establish a unified internal network, connecting employees and improving communication across departments. It also involves training staff on the Oracle system for enterprise management and launching a comprehensive electronic archive to digitise documents – aligning with the company’s goal of implementing a “paperless office” policy.
Eng. Ayman Arab, Chairman of EHCAAN, stated: “We are committed to developing our technological infrastructure in line with the state’s digital transformation vision. This will enhance employee efficiency and create a modern, technology-driven work environment.”
He added that the initiative is expected to improve service quality, reduce reliance on paper documents, and contribute to environmental sustainability while boosting productivity.
The digital transformation project is part of EHCAAN’s broader strategy to modernise its internal operations, improve institutional efficiency, and foster innovation, ensuring adherence to global industry standards.
