China’s international airline, in partnership with the Chinese Cultural Centre in Cairo, has announced a new direct flight route between Cairo and Beijing. The inaugural flight is set to depart from Cairo International Airport on July 9.
The airline will operate three weekly flights utilising Airbus A330-200 aircraft. This new route expands the carrier’s extensive network, which currently serves 462 destinations, including 113 international routes across 45 countries.

A launch event was held at Sofitel El Gezirah Hotel, with attendance from key figures including Mohamed Hammad, Assistant to the Minister of Civil Aviation; Ahmed Youssef, Head of the Tourism Promotion Authority; Mohamed Hnno, Chairman of Aero Services Egypt (the exclusive sales agent for the airline in Egypt); the advisor to the Chinese Embassy in Cairo; and officials from the Chinese airline.
