Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar discussed with Ambassador of Sierra Leone in Egypt Sadiq Silla ways to enhance co-operation between the two countries and transfer Egyptian expertise to Sierra Leone in various fields of the civil aviation industry, which comes within the framework of strengthening relations between Egypt and Sierra Leone.
The minister confirmed that the meeting comes within the framework of emphasising the direction of the political leadership towards strengthening bilateral relations with all African countries and the vital role played by Egypt in order to achieve the development goals of the brothers within the continent.
For his part, the Sierra Leonean ambassador in Cairo expressed his happiness with this fruitful meeting, which aims to achieve more co-operation between the two countries in the civil aviation industry, pointing to his country’s desire to benefit from the Egyptian expertise in the field of civil aviation, which has made many achievements during the last period.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Civil Aviation Minister Montaser Manna and Basem Abdul Karim, Assistant Minister of Civil Aviation for International Relations and Information.
