Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Abbas inspected on Saturday Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh International Airports to check on services and facilities offered to Egypt’s guests, who will take part in the UN climate conference, COP27, which kicks off in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh on Sunday.
Abbas inspected the two airports’ halls and counters, urging the airports’ staff to do their utmost to offer the required care for the comfort of the arriving delegations.
It is worth mentioning that EgyptAir is organizing 250 flights to transfer the COP27 participants from various countries to Cairo and Sharm El-Sheikh.
The national carrier is set to organize 45 domestic and international flights on Saturday and Sunday, including flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Istanbul, Dubai, Nairobi, Lagos and Kinshasa to Sharm El-Sheikh airport.
