Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar on Saturday discussed with Vice Chairman of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for Africa and the Middle East Kamil al Awadhi ways of boosting joint cooperation between the ministry and the association.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the civil aviation sector in Egypt and the region in light of the bad impact and repercussions of Covid-19 for this vital sector globally.
The talks also took up several international issues concerning air transport, with special focus on security and safety of aviation and airports.
